W. RUSSELL RYLKO MEMORIAL GRANT AWARDED
On January 24, at the 47th Annual Amherst Model Train Show, Mystic Valley Railway Society (MVRS) presented the initial W. Russell Rylko Memorial Grant Award to the Shore Line Trolley Museum (SLTM) of East Haven, CT. to complete restoration of Connecticut Trolley Company suburban trolley car # 865. It is hoped that the award will continue to remember Russ for many years to come for his enthusiasm in promoting public transportation and historic preservation of equipment and structures and for the amazing legacy he left behind.
