September 12, 2010 (Sun)The Worcester Model Railroaders, Inc, one of the oldest Model Railroad Clubs on the East Coast, is holding an open house. Location: 137 Schofield Avenue, (Rt. 12) Dudley, MA 01571 (Stevens Linen Building) Time: 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM  Admission/Donation: $2.00, Children under 12 are free.   Our 40’x 50’ HO scale operating layout depicts the Boston & Albany line from Boston to Springfield with a branch line into Rhode Island and Connecticut. Visitors will be able to observe club members operating steam and diesel trains as well as operate a train themselves.  Model Railroading is the world’s greatest hobby! September 26, 2010 (Sun) - The Old Colony Model Railroad Club of Raynham, MA will hold it’s ninth annual model railroad show and sale.  The show will be held at the Taunton Holiday Inn on Myles Standish Blvd in the Myles Standish Industrial Park in Taunton.  Exit 9 from route 495.  Times will be from 10:00 AM to 3:30 PM .  Admission is Adults $4, children under 12 and scouts in uniform free.  Food and beverage will be available for sale.  Show is handicapped accessible and there is plenty of free parking.  Dealers from Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Maine will be present.  Operating layouts will be on display.  For more information contact Dennis Ingalls at (508) 285-3963 or email dingalls@comcast.net 

September 26, 2010 ( Sunday ) - Taunton, MA Old Colony Model Railroad Club will be holding its annual model train show. Located at the Taunton Holiday Inn, Myles Standish Blvd., Route 495, Exit 9 Taunton, Massachusetts. 10:00am to 3:30pm. Admission: $4.00. Children under 12 and Scouts in uniform Free. Free Parking, Operating Layouts, and Concession Stand. This is an all gauge show. 

October 10, 2010, (Sun) - The New Haven and Derby Model Railroad Club, Inc. (an affiliate of The Orange Historical Society) will be holding it’s 18th annual model train show from 9:30AM–3:30PM at High Plains Community Center 525 Orange Center Road (route 152) in Orange, CT. The building is minutes from Interstate 95’s exit 41 and exit 56 of the Wilbur Cross Parkway (CT 15). It is handicap accessible and has plenty of free parking.  All Scales and eras will be represented with between 90-100 vendor tables featuring locomotives, rolling stock, books, accessories, clothing, scenery, buildings and railroad memorabilia. The Valley “HO” Railroad Club, Valley “N”-Trak Railroad Club and the Connecticut “G” Scale Railroad Club will have their modular operating layouts set up for viewing and their members will gladly answer any questions you may have. In addition we will have smaller kid friendly “S” gauge and “T” track layouts. There will be door prizes at least every hour and a dining car to satisfy your hunger. All in all there will be something for every member of the family.  Donations are: adults $5.00, teens (12-18 with adult) $1.00 and under 12 free. November 7, 2010 (Sunday) - Brockton, MA 19th Annual Brockton Train Show at the Temple Beth Emunah Brotherhood, 479 Torrey Street, Brockton, Ma. Dealers, Layouts, Displays, Exhibits, and Food Concessions. Free Parking and Handicapped Accessible. Adults:$4.00, Students and Seniors: $3.00, Children under 8: Free w/ Adult. Family Max $8.00. Easy to reach from Route 24, exit 17b(rout 123W), first right at lights to Pearl Street, 3/4 mile to building.

November 20 - 21, 2010 - Wilmington, MA Shriners Auditorium - 99 Fordham Road, Wilmington, MA. Greenberg’s Train & Toy Show is a traveling show that caters to the model railroad enthusiast.
